The nominations for this years MVP are as follows, if you're eligible to vote this year then you have already been notified. Voting is open now and closes at midday on Friday 6th September so get your votes in now. The winners will be announced and the awards will be presented at this years end of season party which will be on Friday 13th September at a venue yet to be decided but mark the date for now.

Castleknock Blitz 2013 - Plate Winners

Well played "Galway Tribes 2" in winning the plate competition at the annual Castleknock Blitz. Also well done to the "Galway Tribes" in almost qualifying for cup final and the host team the "Bearcats" for winning the cup.

Also a big thanks to Johnny & Jan from the "Thunderbolts" for playing with us, you played a big part in us winning.

GALWAY TRIBES TABLE QUIZ

Like last year, we’d like if everyone could spread the word and possibly organize at least one table per team member.  Of course, if you can bring more we’d love to have everyone attending.  If you haven’t been, the Oslo has a HUGE back room where the quiz will take place, so we’d like to fill it as best we can.  They would also like a rough-estimate of how many tables we’re having so they can bring in more staff if they need (read:  less beer-waiting time), so let me know if you can make it and how many tables of people you can bring. Also if you'd like to go and haven't got a team, let us know and we can try to help place you. Reply to angelicadanaher@gmail.com 

Last time we had the quiz, we got a great response.  We'd like to repeat that as it's a great night out for the team and we really want thirts/hoodies/more ice packs.  On the Galway Tribes facebook page, we've put up a notice for the quiz...please feel free to 'share' it on your facebook page to draw a crowd.  

We’re now in the process of looking for spot prizes, raffle prizes, etc.  If you've got something to donate, or work somewhere that has, let us know via email here.
